I am uploading a video recording of a BBC TV film, reshown on the Satellite channel "Performance" , of Purcell's Dido & Aeneas. This was once available on VHS videotape, now out of print, and has not appeared on DVD. The soundtrack is available on CD.
It has the characteristics of a film made after the soundtrack with the artists miming, although that is only my opinion and I may be incorrect.
